Rodney D. Robbins MA, CADC III

Rodney Robbins has provided adolescent specific substance abuse treatment since graduating from George Fox University with a Masters’ Degree in Counseling Psychology.

 

Prior to attending college, he served in the U.S. Army from 1984-1986 where he was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division.  Following an honorable discharge, completing his enlistment, he returned to Oregon and was married.

 

In 1990, he began college, and returned to the Army National Guard, where he served until 1996, completing his enlistment and being honorably discharged.

 

Rodney Robbins brings to the field of substance abuse/addiction treatment a deep commitment to seeing adolescent clients discontinue their harmful use of mood altering chemicals.  Having built 3 adolescent programs for other agencies prior to establishing First Step Adolescent Center, he brings a broad range of different perspectives and experience to his treatment center.

 

Since opening in 2000’, with the most recent addition of the Newberg facility in 2003, he has treated over 1000 teens and their families.  After reaching a decision to close his second office, he now operates exclusively in Newberg, OR.
